This also applies to the connectors used. The binder M12 connector programme is specially designed to fulfil the industrial requirements of the food and beverage industry. All products are both IP69K and Ecolab (ECL) tested. In addition, some of these products are FDA-compliant. Corrosion resistance is ensured by the use of stainless steel 1.4404 and special plastics. As a result these products are ideal for areas where aggressive cleaning agents and procedures must be withstood. Product contact zone Very strict hygiene requirements, as the food can come into contact with the product and then re-enter the processing process. 1 2 Washdown zone Food can come into contact with the products, but does not subsequently return back into the food production process.
