Ecocity & Industry 2009: a key event for the environment and the future of industries and cities

Between 27 and 29 May, Ecocity will be the key meeting place for players in the environmental and sustainable development sectors, presenting the latest technologies and services relating to water, waste, air and energy.

The exhibition will be bringing together more than 200 exhibitors in the new Pavilion 6 at the Gran Via venue and expects to host more than 12,000 trade visitors from all over the world.

With the aim of generating synergies among all the agents involved in the environmental sector, Ecocity & Industry will be complementing the trade fair section with some technical seminars of general interest: the Ecosessions.

The show will also be hosting the III National Recycling Meeting, organized by the Catalan Recycling Association, and the prize-giving ceremony of the seventh Sustainable City awards, organized by ACECMA, the Fira de Barcelona and the Fòrum Ambiental Foundation.

  
  
  • Ecosessions

    The sessions will be centred around three key environmental areas: waste, water, air and renewable energies.

  
  
  • Carbon Expo, the world's leading conference on CO2 emissions, is to coincide with Ecocity 2009

    Last year the conference was attended by 3,000 delegates from 115 countries.

    In 2009 it is making cities a feature of its programme with the organization of the “International Symposium on Cities & Carbon Finance”. Follow this link for all the information on Carbon Expo.
