ISSCR Outstanding Young Investigator Award

The ISSCR is excited to announce the new ISSCR Outstanding Young Investigator Award supported by the University of Pittsburgh that recognizes the exceptional achievements of an investigator in the early part of his or her independent career in stem cell research. Members are invited to nominate young scientists to be honored with the 2009 award at the ISSCR 7th Annual Meeting in Barcelona, Spain, July 8-11, 2009. Read more.
Weissman, Yamanaka and Schöler Receive Prestigious Award from German Scientific Foundation

In a ceremony today ISSCR President-Elect Irving L. Weissman (USA), Board Member Shinya Yamanaka (Japan) and Member Hans Schöler (Germany) were awarded the prestigious Robert Koch Prize by the Robert Koch Foundation.
