• Recommended primer: PRIMAIRE 411-200, 411-80, or 411-80S, depending on surface
• Cleaning: DAF 315
RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE:
Comply with DTU N°59-3 “Floor Paint”, which defines surface quality required and measures to be taken prior to implementation (note that surface must be sound, clean, dry, and absorbent), as well as DTU N°54.1 “Synthetic-resin-based liquid floor coatings”.
SURFACE PREPARATION :
• Soundness: Surface cohesion > 1MPa = 100N/cm² for concrete, > 0.5MPa/cm² for mortar.
• Cleanliness: Soiling and grease to be removed with DEGRAISSANT LT615, followed by thorough rinsing.
• Dryness: < 4% humidity for concrete and mortar. Absence of rising damp.
• Absorption:
Water droplet test: absorption must be complete from 60 to 240 seconds. Specific surface treatment required if this is not the case.
If applied to an existing coating in good condition, verify compatibility and adherence by prior test.
MIXTURE PREPARATION:
Using a slow-speed mixer, mix the pre-dosed packets by pouring component B into resin A. Slowly add component C while mixing until a homogenous mixture is obtained.
Once mixed the practical usage time is 30 minutes at 20°C. The product then gradually thickens and heats up as it hardens. This process is irreversible.
NEVER ADD THINNER DURING APPLICATION. DURING STORAGE PROTECT THE PRODUCT FROM HEAT AND DIRECT SUN.
IMPLEMENTATION:
Pour the homogenously mixed product onto the floor and spread uniformly with a pointedtooth spatula. Tooth height should be twice that of the required coating thickness. Roll to eliminate air-bubbles and obtain a perfect surface. In order to maintain the regularity of surface thickness, change the toothed spatula every 50 to 75m².
