EEx-i switching module

Short description
Electronic module with intrinsically safe circuit for the connection of passive potential free contacts. Namur sensors DIN 194734 and/or EN60947-5-6 and PTC limiters with switching point of approx. 3.5 KW. The module transmits the signal to the Ex area from the safe area by means of an intrinsically safe electric circuit – single contact.

Installation
Installation of the module is always in the safe area. The assembly is on a standard EN5022 strip. The connected sensor, depending on the type, can be installed in Ex areas 0,1,2,20,21 and 22.

Explosion proof protection class II(1)GD[ EEx ia] IIC in acc. With EN50014/50020, with intrinsically safe circuit certification PTB 02 ATEX 2195 CE 0158, 94/9/EG, (ATEX) 89/336/EG (EMV).

Housing and dimensions
Housing material in Polycarbonate, dimensions are 225 x 75 x 110mm, enclosure IP20.
