Kerb and roadway grating : PAMELLAS hinged concave grating 1011 x 598, 811 x 450 opening
FIELD OF USE:
- Areas of channels along concave channels with central profile along kerbs
- Point ingress in gullies for rainwater.
MAIN PERFORMANCE FACTORS:
- High level absorption performance :
- profiled bars, contoured to capture the maximum volume of run off water, confirmed by measurements on test bench carried out at the Saint-Gobain PAM research centre.
- development of the Expert software, used by our technical teams to help customers design projects, was based on a thorough understanding of the hydraulic performance of the gratings
- Stability and silence in all situations :
- the frame has a wide support, ensuring stability and safety, on concrete standardised or brickwork chambers
- safe, silent behaviour when crossed by vehicles. The grating is locked in its frame, with no risk of play or movement, by its ductile cast iron sprung bars
- Ergonomy : the grating can be lifted effortlessly, using the hinge
- Operation : easy access to the networks for cleaning or inspection
- Dissuasion of vandalism : cannot be opened without unlocking tools such as pickaxe or crowbar
- Safety : the non-skid patterns on the grating prevent any risk of pedestrians or cyclists slipping
- Implementation : frame with apertures and wide bearing flange on 3 sides (except kerb side) to ensure efficient, strong and durable installation.
