MAIN PERFORMANCE FACTORS:
- A water seal in the tank acting as a trap prevents foul air diffusing out of the sewer
- The trap valve opens under the weight of water (2 litres for PAG No. 2 ) accumulated and closes automatically after the water has been tipped out:
- Large pieces of debris are automatically evacuated when the tank opens
- Evacuation of large quantities of water which enter through the cover plates and the gratings
