UV Systems: Dulcodes M UV-System

Dulcodes M UV Generators with Powerline Mean Effective Pressure Radiators are designed for the treatment of large amounts of water and may be used - depending on the type of transmission - with flow rates of up to 3,522 gpm (800 m³/h). With their special radiators these generatorss are especially suitable for photo-oxidative degradation of e.g. Chloramines in swimming pool water, of Chlorine dioxide in the beverage industry or of Chlorine and Ozone in other production waters.

Advantages:

  • safe disinfection by monitoring via long-time stable UVC probe
  • special suitability for photo-oxidative degradation e.g. Chloramines in swimming pool water, of Chlorine dioxide in the beverage industry or of Chlorine and Ozone in other production waters thanks to very large emmission spectrum of the radiators
  • easy cleaning through an automatic, motor-driven wiper to remove films on the radiator protection tube
  • economy of spare radiators thanks to sparing ignition and exact adjustment of optimal radiator operational current
  • spacial separation of control gear from control drive over long distances no longer a problem thanks to BUS technology
  • optimal adaptation of the generator to changing operation conditions e.g. flow rate fluctuations due to external capacity control via norm signal  0/4-20 mA
  • easy and individual adaptation to operation conditions and circumstances by freely programmable control drive

    Features:

  • flow rate: up to 3,522 gpm (800 m³/h) (depending on the type of transmission)
  • mean effective radiators of type Powerline with mercury vapour pressure of more than 14.5 psig (one bar), thus high connection capacities of more than 10 kW per arc length
  • high gas pressure as well as relatively high operation temperature of radiator of 1,112° F up to 1,472° F (600 - 800°C), thus large emmission spectrum
  • radiator lifetime: ca. 10,000 h
  • control gears with BUS interface for the ignition and monitoring of every single radiator
  • variable radiator current for sparing ignition and exact adjustment of optimal radiator operational current
  • Long-time stable UVC probe for the monitoring of the disinfection task and the transmission (UV permeability) of the water
  • integrated temperature probe for the monitoring of the water temperature in the radiation chamber
  • big graphic display for viewing the probe signal
  • monitoring of the radiator weathering, the radiator protection tube contamination as well as changes in the water quality
  • external capacity control via norm signal 0/4-20 mA for the optimal adaptation of the generator to changing operation conditions e.g. flow rate fluctuations
  • freely programmable control drive e.g. for various rinsing, alarming and shutdown events
  • automatic motor-driven wiper for the efficient removal of films on the radiator protection tube
  • radiation chamber of high-quality stainless steel
  • control cabinets of varnished steel.
