With the cooling tower controller ProMcon, all required functions such as bleed control, metering of two biocides and one inhibitor as well as the monitoring of the entire cooling water process can be controlled. The cooling tower controller can be operated in the conductivity or volumetric
mode. In the conductivity mode, the bleed is controlled depending on the conductivity of the circulating water. In the volumetric mode, the process is controlled depending on the added
make-up water.

Features:

  • Metering of up to 2 biocides via metering pumps or brominator.
  • Control of a solenoid valve or motor ball valve/motor valve for bleed.
  • Control of bleed via conductivity measurement or measurement of the make-up water quantity.
  • 3 digital inputs to monitor the circulation, remote-controlled pause and processing of a contact water meter signal.
  • Event-controlled (32 events per cycle) for 2 biocides.
  • Connection of a second measured variable via analogue signal, e.g. pH, ORP/Redox, chlorine or bromine or conductivity.
  • Automatic switching between summer/winter.
  • Pre-bleed and bleed lockout.
  • Pause input to stop the controller.
  • Contact water meter input with adjustable pulse spacing.
  • Control of one inhibitor
  • 2 standard signal outputs, 0/4 ... 20 mA for conductivity or temperature and second measured variable.
  • Alarm relay for alarm signalling.
  • Adjustable alarm limit values for measured value conductivity.
