Various hardware device classes are available for the automation system PSS 4000. Both the control systems and the I/O systems are modular in design, versatile and expandable. The wide range of I/O modules enables a high level of flexibility.

The software platform PAS4000 contains several editors and blocks.
In PAS4000, the tools for configuration, programming, commissioning and operation are closely compatible. The data interfaces are standardised, making information easier to exchange in all phases of automation.
In future it will be possible to program the control system PSSuniversal PLC as a programmable logic controller for standard and safety tasks in the main EN/IEC 61131-3 languages. We've started off with the programming language PAS IL (Instruction List).
