SPeX, ATEX single pole power connector
The SPeX ATEX single pole power connector with “e” protection mode can connect high current equipment from 1000 V a.c. / 1500 V d.c. and up to 680 A without any danger for users.
Ideally suited for explosive atmospheres, the SPeX complies with ATEX Directives 94/9/CE and can be used in zones 1 & 2 (gas) and zones 21 & 22 (dust).
Automatically watertight IP66/IP67 as soon as the plug is inserted, it has an electromechanical interlocking device driven by a microswitch (phases are simultaneously opened and closed) to guarantee operators safety and to avoid unbalanced electrical operation.
Reliable, its glass fibre reinforced polyester casing provides an excellent resistance to shocks (IK08), UV and chemical agent.
