The functional coverage of the TDC work suite facilitates the management of consistency within a project, through the several methods :

We have the exclusive rights on the APTE© Methods for Functional Analysis. An exhaustive external functional analysis is more and more important in the automotive, at the beginning of new projects, for example in order to take into account the evolution of needs and performance.

The internal functional analysis with block-diagrams will help you to match the relationships between the components but also with the “right” customer need, in a graphical way.

The chain of the several hazard assessments : preliminary risk analysis (that becomes strategic in terms of security systems), D-FMEAs, P-FMEAs,  machinery FMEA, control plan,  process flowchart, production process sheet, job safety and tasks analysis, etc,…

You can also build a complete fault tree (and not only a simple drawing of identified causes) with exact calculation thanks to the ARALIA engine

The traceability on each data enables to keep the story of each, you can then easily filter the updates realized during the last work session/ project review, or be able to identify exactly what is specific to your project, and what comes from the Company standard. The concept of generic is only valuable for managing the whole project lifecycle, if you integrate this concept of traceability: it is the only way to be able whether a data is worth of use - or not- for your own project.

Capitalization is very easily updated, after a validation step.

The customization is very powerful in order to be reactive to your own customers, for instance with the adaptation to  the customer ranking or rating, FMEA columns, DRBFM, QANetwork approach, without any extra cost in terms of license, just some hours of specification and development of reports, on quotation.
