Returns handling

Returned products which, for reasons of guarantee, must be examined to determine why they were returned and, irrespective of their FIFO status, should be marked for priority picking, are identified at one of the goods-in work stations, labelled, and put into storage in a separate bin.

In order to make the identification of articles easier for the operators, both at the goods-in and re-turns areas, it is possible via the WMS to display images of the articles both on the RF terminals at the goods-in station or on-screen at the detrashing work stations.
