Gigabit Ethernet camera (GigE)

Kappa has successfully extended its camera range with Gigabit Ethernet cameras. The GigE CCD cameras allow cable lengths of up to 100m/330ft (CAT5E) and are available with various sensors; in color, monochrome or cooled versions, with megapixel resolution, frame rates of up to 30/90 Fps and „short trigger delay“ (6,75 micro sec.). The Kappa Software Pool offers three different tools: The camera control software KCC, the software development kit (sdk3) for integration into third-party software interfaces, and the application software KIB for standard measurement tasks. Special Kappa features like the camera-internal color processing and the camera-internal signature creation are also available for the GigE camera model range.
