The 714 is driven by a 5.9 litre engine producing 150 gross horsepower at 2200rpm, allowing it to reach top speeds of approx. 40kph (24.8mph). 

The JCB 714 features a ZF Smooth-shift transmission that provides best in industry performance with smooth gear changes which help reduce operator fatigue. 

All switches, including body tip lever, gear selection, direction indicators, windscreen wipers and heater controls are within easy reach of the operator and easy to use.
