Decorative floor systems
Most decorative floor treatments consist of a mixture of colourless epoxy or methacrylic resins and pigmented graded inert fillers. The resin, coloured with pigmented minerals, is applied over a slightly sanded-down primer. Two layers of binding agent seal off the surface and give the floor a structured appearance. A finishing layer may be applied to make the floor treatment more resistant to abrasion and scratching.
