Inspection of top-sealed trays
Products under MAP get their use-by date lengthening over several weeks. Quality of the film sealing on the tray-pack determines the conservation conditions. The least particle of the product (meat, bread, condiments...) present in the sealing zone is likely to develop and cause a leak during its life on the shelves. When opening it, the customer will discover a damaged product and will not repeat its purchasing act on the brand concerned. Some industrialists already guard themselves against this risk while choosing ThermoSecure which detects in-line every foreign particle from 0,5 mm² in the sealing zone.
ThermoSecure inspects 100% of the production answering increasing production rates. Moreover, ThermoSecure is the key module of the total automation of the packing ends of line. In addition to the detection of foreign particles, ThermoSecure identifies the empty tray-packs, joins the module of facing inspection (use-by date inspection, film offset, sticker positioning) then gives to the encasing robot the coordinates of the conform tray-packs to be put in the cases. The defective products are ejected according to whether they must be modified, reopened or put at waste.
