The Multicontroller SMC regulates the sand preparation process in the mixer and ensures consistent sand properties. Continuous and fully automatic regulation is performed on the basis of target versus real value comparison which are taken on cylindrical standard test specimen.
Measurements:
The Multicontroller is normally attached to high capacity mixers of a stationary trough design. The programme of the SMC serves to regulate the volume of water and bentonite added into the moulding sand mixture by monitoring compactability and mould strength levels.
