Optical 3D Scanner MetraSCAN
The MetraSCAN is a powerful 3D scanning system that works together with the C-Track 780 and which generates the most accurate measurements. Combined with the portable CMM HandyPROBE, the 3D scanner MetraSCAN allows taking highly accurate measurements in the lab and on the shop floor.
Compared with other 3D scanners, the optical 3D laser scanner MetraSCAN allows total freedom of movement and a greater, extendable working volume. The volume can be easily and dynamically extended with no loss of accuracy and without any conventional leapfrog or additional alignment set-up involved. No need for the operator to re-align data after moving the part or the C-Track.

Optical 3D Scanner MetraSCAN
The MetraSCAN uses the TRUaccuracy technology which ensures highly-accurate measurements, regardless of the measurement environment (instability, virbrations). With the dynamic mode of the C-Track, the coordiante system can be literally ‘locked’ onto the part(s) being measured, thus maintaining part alignment during the entire 3D scanning process.
