This residential monitor regulates when the air conditioner compressor is actively being managed. Utilities offer multiple program options for their customers to sign up for, based on their personal preferences. When there is a load shed event, the controller cycles off the compressor, until the temperature sensor reaches the customer’s chosen temperature. Once it reaches that threshold, the temperature sensor maintains that temperature through the shed event.
