The Alcatel-Lucent 9719 Distributed WiMAX Base Station (D- WBS) complements the WiMAX Base Station portfolio to enable remote radio applications. The 9719 D-WBS functions as the central base station, while remote radio capabilities are provided by the WiMAX all-in-one base station products - the Alcatel-Lucent 9715 Lightweight WiMAX Base Station (L-WBS) or Light2 WiMAX Base Station (L2-WBS)and the Alcatel-Lucent 9710 Compact WiMAX Base Station (C-WBS).
The 9719 D-WBS consists of an outdoor site support cabinet (SSC), hosting power supply, battery backup, optional backhaul transmission equipment and O&M features. It is optimized for sites with up to three sectors.
