WL-DONGLE relies on the same technology used in the WL-COMETH range and thus profit from proven technology, device is very compact and is specially designed to satisfy the needs of the system integrator market. Product rely on the IEEE 802.11b standard (2.4 Ghz) and is IEEE 802.11g compatible, it features a full high speed RS232 serial interface (up to 250 Kbps) available on a SUBD 9 connector. The link is made safe by a WEP 64/128 bits encryption key, the nominal range is 300 m (open space) for a 11 Mbps binary rate, emitter power is +15dBm while receiver sensibility is -84dBm.
Its size is extremely compact (L :79 x W :58 x H :23 mm) and can be connected to any equipment equipped with a serial port, consequently opening to equipment access to the wireless world.
