What are they?

Süd-Chemie’s tubes are durable, rigid containers, which  along with Süd-Chemie’s desiccant stoppers create an  ideal package for effervescent tablets, chewables and  lozenges, as well as diagnostic test strips.  The packaging  effectively protects products from breakage and moisture  degradation, supporting shelf-life, efficacy and brand  appeal.

Why use them? 

Ideal for effervescent tablets and diagnostic test strips,  tubes and desiccant stoppers help manufacturers reduce  expenses by eliminating the need for costly foil pouching,  desiccant insertion and even carton packaging.  Because  Süd-Chemie’s tubes and stoppers can be automated for  high-speed filling, they can help manufacturers increase  efficiencies, as well.  All tubes can be printed with  customized six-color graphics, increasing marketability  and heightening brand recognition among end users.

Product Features

Tamper Evident:  Tamper evident tubes feature a lip in the  neck of the tube on which the breakable ring of a tamper  evident stopper locks into place.  Upon opening, the ring  breaks away, indicating opening.

Tight Seal:  By using a dual material system (polyethylene  stopper and polypropylene tube) and innovative mold  designs, a perfect seal between closure and container  tightly control moisture vapor transmission.

Offset printing:  A crucial criterion for safety and branding,  even with rather complex art work, dry offset printing  allows for very fine, sharp pictures with up to 6 colors.  

Spiral stoppers:  The optional spiral is used to securely  hold tablets in place, especially during transport.

Desiccant: Desiccant of various types, quantities and  properties can be utilized in a special chamber in the  stopper to allow for proper desiccation of the product.
